Sakuraya (23 Nov)

Think Sakuraya is a new restaurant. It's at Anchorpoint, which is current refurbishing its shopping mall. Should be quite nice after that. At least a good alternative to divert traffic from Ikea ;)

Sakuraya was rather crowded when we went but I made reservation before I went down. Perhaps cos it's a Friday. Anyway, this jap restaurant is a mid-range one, something like Akashi.

This the appetiser. Don't know what it is. FOC if you are wondering.

My hubby ordered a curry udon. Quite good! It was hot throughout the entire dinner session. Maybe it's the bowl that kept it warm ;)

Me ordered a set, don't know what it is called, but it's pork lah.. nice!

Overall, 3.5 out of 5. Service was good actually. In terms of price, quality and variety, I still prefer Akashi leh ;)

Yes, MUST go Akashi, especially the one at Tanglin Shopping Centre (not Tanglin Mall hoh).. They have another branch at Vivocity Basement but the one at Tanglin Shopping Centre is better. BTW, their set lunch is cheaper than the same set of dinner ;)
