Weather: Rainy and windy most of the time except when we were at Cathedral Cove where the sun was out!
Drove to these places for our day trip. Hot Water Beach was really interesting! While the sea water was cold, one could actually get hot water (yes, like hot spring water) by digging a shallow hole into the beach.

Instant carbonara (NZD1.80), beef steak (3 pieces cost NZD5+, very cheap right?) and yoghurt we bought from the nearby supermarket. We ate the yoghurt with strawberries we bought from Coromandel (NZD4 for 2 packs).
