Don't remember where this was but it was enroute to Wanaka
Very the beaauuttttiiifffffuuuulllll hoh??Stayed for a night at Lake Wanaka, mainly to break the journey between FJ and Te Anau, our next destination. With snow-capped mountains in the background, Lake Wanaka was stunningly beautiful, especially with the great sunny weather!
Accommodation:
YHA Purple Cow – NZD78/night ensuite room without TV. We were in room 3 – very frills-free type of room. But it was a nice cosy hostel right in town, in front of Lake Wanaka (5min walk to the Lake). They have a TV room, a pool table and a big kitchen for guests.
