Sze Chuan Court, Fairmont Hotel Singapore (23 May)

Another buffet treat which I booked quite immediately when hubby alerted me about a promotion Sze Chuan Court was having ha! Its Dim Sum buffet from 12-3pm cost $28.80++ per pax.

Within the restaurant
酸辣汤 - hubby had 2 share
Winter melon with duck meat - I had 2 share too!
The dish on the left is Drunken Chicken (cold dish) and the other is spicy 饺子.
Siew Mai, and wanna guess what the other is? It's squid ink 虾饺. Both items were not nice cos they don't taste like what dim sum tastes haha!!
排骨 which was not too bad
Only item I like - it's baked pastry with unagi in it. When I ordered a 2nd round, it was already sold out! ArrghhH!!

(top left clock-wise) another type of 饺子, 凤爪, 小笼包

More cold dishes - on the left is chicken strips with I can't remember what and the other is jelly fish. Nothing uncommon leh...

Fried 金针菇 - oily!
Desserts!! - Mango sago and Longan with Ice jelly and something else which I can't remember but it was very refreshing!

Pineapple tarts offered to us FOC after we asked for the bill. Too full to eat already lah!!

Generally, the fried stuff were tad too oily.. and the dim sum dishes were not anything to rave about either.. Perhaps we went with too high an expectation, especially since it is under the Fairmont Hotel brand.

Verdict: Thumbs-down 不直得! Hahaha!!
